What hypnotherapy is NOT – mind control, making you do silly things and embarrassing yourself in front of others – things like that.

What hypnotherapy IS – access to the subconscious while you are fully awake and in control of yourself.

A typical session consists of:

  • a deep relaxation exercise
  • me reciting a “script” for your particular issue
  • you participating with the “script”
  • done

During this time, I am told that neuronal pathways are changed, so you don’t have to keep having the habitual responses to old stressors.

Your subconscious will work on the suggestions made during the session and will continue to seek a healthy resolution.  You may experience dreams that bring up old stuff.  The brain is processing memories and getting rid of them.
